The method behind the moodboards
Why Futures Thinking?
The heart of this coaching journey is a method usually reserved for big-picture strategists, now adapted by me (a former strategist) for real people living real lives.
Futures thinking (or strategic foresight) is a set of tools used by governments, global companies, and NGOs to plan for uncertainty and imagine new possibilities. It helps leaders scan the horizon, test scenarios, and craft long-term strategies in a fast-changing world.
But here’s the thing:
Most people never get taught how to imagine their own future proactively
We tend to plan reactively responding to what’s right in front of us. But what if you could create space to think further ahead?
To ask: What could be possible? What do I deeply want? And how might I gently move toward it, without burning out or selling out?
We take these tools out of the boardroom and into the living room, the journal, the craft table. We slow them down. Soften them. Make them beautiful. Accessible. They become personal.
What does all of this mean for your life?
Instead of just goal-setting or self-improvement, you’re learning how to:
Expand your sense of what’s possible
Name what truly matters to you
Design a future that fits your energy, values, and longings
Respond to change with creativity and clarity
Feel less “stuck” in your current story, and more curious about the next one
It’s not about predicting the future. It’s about reclaiming your role as a participant in shaping it.
